Andrea's Bridal Portraits

Andrea is full of so much grace and beauty and I felt like it just beamed out of her during her bridal portraits.  I love that we took these just a few days after her wedding day - we got to catch up about the day itself and there was no major stress about getting the dress dirty.  And of course, who doesn't love being outside on a gorgeous fall day at the amazing Hunter Valley Farms?

The Williams Family

Eek, I'm so far behind on my blog posts!  I literally have 13 amazing families and a bridal portrait session that I need to get up here!  So the blog is going to be a happening place over the next few days.  Here's a look at some really happy faces and some gorgeous leaves.  Love seeing the Williams family, it's always an adventure...

Rebekah & Ross Engagements

Six years ago I photographed this beautiful girl's high school senior photos - and now she's getting married!  Wow, do I feel old.  Not only is she getting married, but she's marrying a guy that makes her smile and laugh even in the coldest of temperatures and crazy wind.  I can't wait for their special day next year.

The Hart Family

Meet the Hart Family (along with Mandy's extended family)! Little Riley is just so full of energy and life, I'm pretty sure it's hard not to see that in the photos.  She definitely kept me on my toes but that's what makes it fun.  I loved getting to know this sweet family a little better and capturing their smiles.  Enjoy!

The Wright Family

It's crazy to think that I knew these two kids in high school - Cynthia & Wesley that is.  Of course, that was way too long ago!  I finally got to meet 4 year old Carson who just might be one of the sweetest little guys out there.  It was so much fun seeing them all on a beautiful fall day at The Ramsey House (definitely one of my favorite Knoxville locations).

The Porter Family

One beautiful family on a perfect fall day = one easy day for this photographer!  I've been photographing 4 year old Addison since her newborn session and I'm so glad I finally got to photograph her beautiful little sister, Emily.  These girls seriously could not be any cuter.  And now Samuel and Susan each have a little mini look alike.  Love this family...

Rachel & Ryan

"My #1 goal is to get married today.  But my second goal is to not drop this veil in the toilet".  ~ Rachel

I'd say those are two very good goals to have on your wedding day! Oh the quotes they spatted off all day. I probably should have carried a journal with me to write them all down in. All of my couples are just amazing but I seriously love this couple so much.  Their wedding ceremony was just so beautiful and thoughtful.  Not only was it centered around their love for each other but also the love they share for others in the world.  The arbor that they stood under was built by Rachel & Ryan based on the tradition of the chuppah symbolizing the home the couple will build together. The structure remains open on all sides, allowing love to freely enter the home, in order to welcome guests in unconditional hospitality.  And if building an arbor wasn't enough, Rachel also hand painted the programs which were gorgeousness. They were married at The Lily Barn in Townsend with the fall colors just barely popping out for them.  Rachel wore her grandmother & mother's veil (and lime green shoes) & the guests painted water color photos in the guest book.

These two are just plain fun and laughter. They decided to have all of their guests throw lavendar on them after the ceremony.  Rachel had it stuck in her braids for the rest of the night but she just laughed and had the best time with the people she loves. I'm so honored to share these pictures. These two are something special...

Courtney & Alex

Oh happy day, it is finally FALL here in East TN!  Nothing makes my heart more happy then to see the beautiful colors that are about to pop out all over this place.  And a few showed up just in time for Courtney & Alex's incredible wedding at Castleton Farms.  And I have to say, Courtney was one gorgeous bride.  I mean, she's definitely the kind of bride that makes you say, "wow" (hello Jimmy Choos)!  Alex is one lucky guy but I'm pretty sure he knows that from the string of tears that fell from his face as he watched her come down the aisle.  Courtney is a self-proclaimed perfectionist and I so love that about her.  But I'm sure not even Courtney could find a thing wrong with this day and how it all ended up.  Ok, maybe the stink bug landing on her head in the middle of the ceremony wasn't her favorite but I hope they laugh about that for the next 60 years because it was truly funny.  Here are some of my favorite memories that I sincerely hope she cherishes forever...
